What is an Interior Design Association?

China Interior Decoration Association is a national organization of interior decoration industry established with government approval. Established in September 1988, it is a social and economic group with legal personality. Entrusted by the State Economic and Trade Commission, China Interior Decoration Association undertakes the specific work of national interior decoration industry management.

The examination place is at the headquarters of China Interior Decoration Association. Senior interior architects only have the authority to audit, and the audit process is very strict. China Construction Association and local associations jointly plan to organize the implementation of assessment and certification work. The scope of division of labor is: the provincial and municipal local associations are responsible for the approval of interior architects, assistant interior architects and interior designers, assistant interior designers, senior interior architects and senior interior designers. China Design Association is responsible for the examination and approval of senior interior architects and senior interior designers, and the preparations for interior architects, assistant interior architects, interior designers, and assistant interior designers.
Declaration at all levels
For designers who have obtained the relevant certificates issued by the provinces and cities themselves, those who meet the required standards and voluntarily apply for them, after completing the necessary procedures, can handle the issue of this certificate.
For designers with inadequate education, related and other professional designers need to participate in relevant trainings such as Hangzhou Qingfeng College, and they can apply after passing the exam. Training and examination methods will be formulated and notified separately.
An assessment fee is required to apply for the technical post competence certification for interior architects (interior designers). Those who have not been assessed are exempt from the assessment fee. The assessment fee for those who are renewed shall be halved according to the standard.
I. Application candidates: interior, architecture, garden, display design and related professionals;
Application conditions:
1. Assistant interior decoration designer (national third-level professional qualification), who has one of the following conditions:
(1) New or previous graduates of this or related major in college or higher technology.
(2) A bachelor's degree or higher who has been engaged in this occupation for more than 3 years
2. Intermediate interior decoration designer (national second-class professional qualification), one of the following conditions:
(1) After obtaining the professional qualification certificate of assistant interior decoration designer, he has been engaged in this occupation for more than 3 years.
(2) A bachelor's degree or higher who has been engaged in this occupation for more than 7 years.
(3) After graduation from a university, he has been engaged in this occupation for more than 5 years.
(4) Graduates of master's degree who have been engaged in this occupation for more than 2 years.
3 Senior interior decoration designer (national first-class professional qualification), one of the following conditions:
(1) After obtaining the professional qualification certificate of interior decoration designer, he has been engaged in this occupation continuously for more than 3 years.
(2) After graduating from university, he has been engaged in this occupation continuously for more than 8 years.
(3) After graduating from a master's degree, he has been engaged in this occupation for more than 5 years.
3. Those who have passed the certificate assessment will be issued a unified certificate by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security (formerly the Ministry of Personnel). The certificate will be controlled in both Chinese and English.

1. Carry out industry investigation and research, coordinate and handle major industry issues, and propose industry development plans and policies and regulations.

Chapter I General Provisions
Article 1 The name of this association is China Interior Decoration Association, and the English name is CHINA NATIONAL INTERIOR DECORATION ASSOCIATION, referred to as CIDA for short. The emblem logo consists of the CIDA pattern.
Article 2 The China Interior Decoration Association (hereinafter referred to as the Association) is a national organization of the interior decoration industry established in accordance with the proposal of the State Council meeting. It is a social and economic organization voluntarily formed by enterprises and institutions in the same industry and has the status of a legal person. The association conducts various activities in accordance with national laws, regulations and association constitutions
Article 3 The China Light Industry Association is the competent authority authorized by the State Council to manage the interior decoration industry. The China Interior Decoration Association is a component of the China Light Industry Association. It is entrusted by the China Light Industry Association to undertake part of the industry management.
Article 4 Interior decoration is the reprocessing and re-creation of all formed internal spaces (including buildings, cars, boats, airplanes, etc.) for people's activities; it is the interior space and environment decoration design, construction, interior decoration materials and supplies. Chapter 2 Tasks
Article 6 The main tasks of the Association are as follows:
(1) Publicize and implement the national policies and policies related to the development of the interior decoration industry;
(2) Assisting the government in formulating and implementing technical standards and quotas for the interior decoration industry, and conducting assessment and supervision of design and engineering quality;
(3) assisting the government to formulate and implement market management of the interior decoration industry;
(4) Carry out investigations and studies on the interior decoration industry at home and abroad, and put forward suggestions for industry development plans and policies;
(5) Promote contacts between members, organize international and domestic exhibitions and technical exchanges, promote technical cooperation and progress in the industry, and help enterprises expand domestic and foreign markets;

(7) Develop contacts with relevant foreign organizations and carry out international cooperation and exchange activities;

Chapter III Members
Article 7 The members of the Association are group members and individual members. Article 8 Any company engaged in the production and operation of interior decoration products, interior decoration engineering companies, interior decoration design, scientific research, technological development, information and information, education and other related institutions and social organizations that have obtained a business registration license in accordance with the law recognizes this charter. Those who pay dues in accordance with the regulations can apply for membership of the association on a voluntary basis.
Article 9 All experts, scholars, professors, scientific researchers and professional managers who are willing to contribute to the development of the interior decoration industry can apply for individual membership of the association on a voluntary basis. According to the needs of the work, the association may hire honorary members.
Article 10 Members of the Association enjoy the following rights;
(1) appointing members' representatives to exercise the right to vote, to be elected, to supervise and other democratic management rights;
(2) Participate in activities organized by the association;
(3) Enjoy the services provided by the association;
(4) making suggestions and criticisms on the work of the association;
(5) Decided to resign.
Article 11 Members of the Association undertake the following obligations:
(1) abide by the association's constitution;
(2) implementing the resolutions of the association;
(3) completing the tasks assigned by the association;
(4) abide by the rules and regulations;
(5) Payment of dues as required.
Article 12 The member representative of the Association may be the legal representative of the member unit, or may be entrusted by other members of the unit with the legal representative of the member unit.
Article 13 The Association may be removed from membership of the Association in any of the following circumstances:
(1) Suspension of business or conversion;
(2) declare bankruptcy according to law;
(3) being revoked according to law;
(4) Failure to fulfill the member's obligations shall be refused to be corrected upon the advice of the Association.
Chapter IV Organization
Article 14 The highest authority of the association is the member congress. The member congress is held every three years and may be advanced or postponed if necessary. The powers of the member congress are:
(1) determine the policies and tasks of the association;
(2) Hearing and reviewing the work report of the Council;
(3) Review and approve the financial budget and final accounts of the Association;
(4) Election of members of the council;
(5) Amend the articles of association.
The resolution of the member congress is valid only if all the members present at the meeting vote and get more than half of the votes.
Article 15 The Council is the executive body of the Association. Each term of office is three years and can be re-elected. The general election of the council may also be held by means of communication. The council meets once a year. Its duties are:
(1) Implementing the resolutions of the member congress;
(2) Formulate the work plan of the association;
(3) Admission of new members.
Article 16 The Council elects a number of executive directors to form the Executive Council. The standing council has one chairman and several deputy directors. The chief and deputy secretaries are appointed by the chairman. During the adjournment of the council, the executive council shall exercise the powers of the council. The term of office of the chairman and vice-chairman is limited to two terms; special circumstances may be extended for one term with the approval of the member congress. There is an office under the executive council, which is responsible for daily affairs, and establishes a number of professional institutions according to the needs of the work.
Article 17 The Association may establish honorary directors and consultants according to the needs of the work, which shall be determined by the executive council.
Chapter 5 Local Associations
Article 18 All local associations established with the approval of relevant local authorities may join the association as group members. Local associations, with the guidance of the local business authority and the assistance of the association, decide on their own work plans and activities.
Chapter VI Funding
Article 19 Funding Sources
(1) dues;
(2) Funding and donation;
(3) Revenue from paid services;
(4) Other legal income. Article 20 Expenditure
(1) Expenditure for carrying out activities to achieve the tasks of the Association;
(2) Salaries, bonuses, labor insurance, welfare expenses, etc. of the staff of the association;
(3) Expenses for office facilities, travel expenses, office expenses and other expenses of the Association;
(4) Other legitimate expenses.
Article 21 The funding income and expenditure of the Association shall comply with the provisions of national financial regulations.
Chapter VII Supplementary Provisions
Article 22 The association's articles of association are approved and implemented by the member congress and reported to the China National Light Industry Council and the Ministry of Civil Affairs for the record. The interpretation of the articles of association belongs to the China Interior Decoration Association.
Article 23 The termination of the China Interior Decoration Association is discussed and approved by the member congress, submitted to the China National Light Industry Council for approval, and to the Ministry of Civil Affairs for cancellation procedures. [4]
