What is the US Treasury?
The United States Department of the Treasury was founded in 1789. Handle US federal fiscal affairs, taxation, issuance of bonds, debt repayment, supervision of currency issuance, formulate and recommend policies on economic, fiscal, tax and treasury revenue, and conduct international financial transactions.
