How can I adapt to a college life?

College is a time for many teenagers, but these changes may not be difficult. Without parents who look over the shoulder, there are the choices you make during your college life are your own. However, this is a place where problems may occur. If you are a shy type, there are several indicators that can help. Many universities have a program of orientation of a freshman that helps students adapt to university life. This orientation usually shows students the location of classes, gym and other important areas. Perhaps more importantly, there is a large group of newcomers in one concentrated area that provides an excellent opportunity to meet new people. This may be intimidating, but you will not find a better opportunity to quickly create a friend. Also, be sure to watch your preliminary hobbies extracurricular sports and clubs are a great way to meet equal -minded people.

In college, whether you go to class, it's up to you. Many professors haveattendance and are not indulgent to freshmen who still adapt to college life. It's okay to miss a few classes, but remember why you went to college in the first place. If you don't go to class, you won't learn. The class is also a great place to meet other students.
