Fang Jun was the vice chairman of the second and third council of the Chinese Society of Surveying and Mapping, the deputy leader of the surveying and mapping group of the National Science and Technology Commission, the member of the geoscience group, the vice chairman of the third council of the Chinese Geophysical Society, and Vice Chairman of Science and Technology Association and member of International Standing Committee on Solid Tide. He is a member of the National Committee of the Fifth and Sixth Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference. [3]
