How Do I Become a Piping Engineer?

The pipeline engineer is the person in charge of the pipeline design of the project and is responsible to its department manager; the pipeline engineer is responsible for the entire design process of preliminary conception, basic design, detailed design, commissioning and construction.

Work experience: Familiar with relevant international standards and knowledge of pipelines, such as calculation of pipeline wall thickness, calculation of pipeline stress, material selection and preparation of material specifications, material stress, relevant provisions for equipment layout, and various equipment operating characteristics; use

According to different job title levels, the average annual salary of a junior pipeline engineer is 60,000 to 120,000 yuan; the annual salary of a senior pipeline engineer can reach 150,000 to 300,000.

Although domestic universities do not yet have the formal specialty of plumbing, and there is no examination of registered plumbing engineers in the community, plumbing engineers are already a very mature and valued class of engineers. There are not many pipeline engineers who have actual field engineering experience and have a high level of design. Such talents are very popular in China.
