What Are the Different Construction Jobs?

Construction workers are workers working on construction sites, and most of them are migrant workers. Work locations include construction sites such as bridges, railways, and houses.

Compared with migrant workers who enter the fields of factories, private enterprises or business, the social relations of construction workers are more closed and narrow, and the urban social network is almost zero. A thin network of relationships restrains them from integrating into the city. They want to really enter the city, and economic income and occupation restrict the establishment of their urban social network. Under these stumbling blocks, the construction workers living in the center of the city are hovering on the edge of the city.
Construction earns more money than the factory, and contract labor makes more money, mainly because you have mastered a technology yourself, and you can eat it everywhere you go.
1. Don't even think about the national holidays, the daily work time depends on the day, usually 9-10 hours, and overtime, but there is overtime pay.
2. Wages are rarely paid monthly. Generally, they are paid for living expenses every month. The remaining money is paid quarterly or after the project is settled. Wages cannot be obtained with certainty, but such situations are not too many, and the state controls are very strict, so you should find a better contractor.
3. Living conditions are difficult, whether it is accommodation, food, or work environment.
4. Wages vary by job type.
5, optimistic about carpentry, woodworker's salary is higher, but technical skills.
6. The working environment at the construction site is dangerous. Pay attention to falling from heights and falling objects, so
Mingong.com has conducted a survey on the food, clothing, and housing of migrant workers, and found that most of the construction work is paid by construction workers. It s not fish. 383 interviewees testified: 204 people (53.3%) said that they had less than 3 meals per meal, sometimes even only one winter melon or cabbage; 122 people (31.9%) had only 3 meals for a long time, only 13 People (3.4%) can eat 5 or more dishes per meal. Such a ratio means that only 3 or 4 of 100 people have such "luxury enjoyment".
Of the 384 construction workers surveyed, 51.8% (199 people) said that food and accommodation have an impact on their health, and only 47.1% (181 people) thought that food and accommodation did not affect their own health. "," "I often eat such meals outside and live on such a wet floor, I don't feel anymore."
The fifth census showed that there are about 120 million peasants in China currently working in cities; our survey shows that 81.8% of construction workers in Changsha are from rural areas; 85% of construction workers have not signed corresponding labor with the employer Agreement; 66% of construction workers said they could not get their wages on time. Construction workers who walk from the countryside to the city work on the front lines of the city, and they rely on labor to support themselves and even the whole family. For a group of construction workers who have made great contributions to the city's construction, do their immediate interests become a guarantee in the form of a system? But our investigation shows that they still suffer some unfair treatment. [1]
The construction industry contains hundreds of types of work. As the construction phase progresses, the types of work used in construction vary. For example, the foundation phase requires earthmoving, anti-precipitation, slope protection and piling, etc., while the main phase requires framework, carpentry, reinforcement, concrete, electrician and hydraulic. The number of workers and types of work on the site are constantly adjusted with the progress of the project. The construction time of some types of work is very short (such as anti-precipitation), and it ends in two or three months. Some are long (carpentry, rebar) and take about a year. The sites we surveyed are basically the main construction stage, including the site of the capping and exterior decoration stage. According to survey data, the top five types of jobs are: woodworkers (including formworkers), plasterers (including bricklayers), rebar workers, strong workers and electricians. These five types of work accounted for 22%, 15%, 14%, 12% and 5% of the total number of construction workers.
Each type of work is divided into large and small ones, and large types have skills. The same type of work has been done for at least one year. Small workers only need to make efforts to deliver materials or lay hands for large workers to assist them. Some small workers are workers who have just entered the construction site, while others are too old to learn or are unskilled. Women workers can usually only do small jobs. Young small and male workers can usually become big workers in a year or two. Some small workers have a master's belt, and some rely on their own thoughts to learn technology while working with large workers. According to the three levels of junior, intermediate and senior, our survey found that about 50.3% of workers are workers below the junior level, 38.3% are intermediate workers, and 11.4% are senior workers.
