- Personnel in important positions in nuclear power plants must be trained and authorized by the manager before they can work. - Simulator training
- The simulator training should create the actual atmosphere as close to the main control room of the power plant as possible. The training must use the operating technical specifications and operating procedures in force in the power plant. The trainees must be trained to use theoretical knowledge in the actual operation of the power plant, and to judge correctly and properly. Ability to handle normal, abnormal and accident conditions in power plants. It is also necessary to train students to work collaboratively with their counterparts in the main control room to help students discover and overcome defects in their knowledge and operating skills. The operation experience of our factory and other power plants must be integrated into the simulator training course, including the re-simulation of the actual operation events of our factory. Because accident conditions cannot be artificially generated during the actual operation of the power plant, the accident procedures of the power plant must be verified on a simulation machine to take effect. The technical transformation involving the operation regulations of the power plant must also be verified on the simulator.
- Operators, especially reactor operators and senior operators, have direct responsibility for the safe operation of nuclear power plants. Therefore, nuclear safety regulations stipulate that reactor operators and senior operators must undergo long-term systematic training and pass the assessments presided by the national competent authority before taking up their posts, including various operational assessments conducted on nuclear power plant training simulators. Qualified persons are issued a license by the national nuclear safety regulatory agency. Two years after the license is issued, it needs to be re-examined, and the validity period of the license can only be extended after confirming that the licensee has sufficient continuous operating experience and completed the necessary regular retraining.
- Operator license
- Personnel with operator licenses may operate nuclear power plant reactor control systems. An operator's license can only be approved if the following conditions are met:
- (1) Good health and no occupational contraindications;
- (2) Have college education or equivalent;
- (3) Trained for operation and passed the assessment.
- Senior Operator License
- Persons with this license may only be responsible for operating or instructing others to operate nuclear power plant reactor control systems. Only when the following conditions are met can the senior operator license be approved:
- (1) Good health and no occupational contraindications;
- (2) Have college education or equivalent;
- (3) Trained in operation and operation and passed the assessment;
- (4) Those who have been operating as operators for more than two years and have outstanding performance.
