What Are the Different Surveyor Jobs?

Surveying engineer is a general name. Professional surveying engineer is a professional technician who passed the examination of National Surveying and Mapping Vocational Skills Appraisal Center (National Surveying and Mapping Geographic Information Bureau Vocational Skills Appraisal Guidance Center) and issued relevant certificates. Certificates of engineering surveyors include: junior, intermediate and senior engineering surveyors, engineering surveying technicians and senior technicians; registered surveyors.

Measurement Engineer

With the continuous development of engineering construction technology, the continuous implementation of large-scale engineering construction projects, the application of engineering measurement has been greatly developed, and surveying engineers have become a relatively popular profession. Surveying engineers are mainly engaged in outdoor surveying and mapping of various engineering projects and internal data processing to form qualified survey results. It requires not only business proficiency, but also hard work.
Survey engineer is a general term that is often misunderstood. Professional surveying engineers are and must be professional technicians who have passed the examination of the National Surveying and Mapping Vocational Skills Appraisal Center (National Surveying and Mapping Geographic Information Bureau Vocational Skills Appraisal Guidance Center) and issued relevant certificates.
Surveyor certificates usually issued by so-called national or provincial construction agencies do not have any professional appraisal capabilities. These are some of the problems left by society, so I won't go into details here.
Engineering surveyor certificates include: Junior, Intermediate, Senior Engineering Surveyor, Engineering Surveying Technician and Senior Technician. It can be seen that there is no survey engineer's name in the surveying and mapping world.
The corresponding certificate of survey engineer should be a registered surveyor. It is the highest level certificate in the surveying and mapping industry. Except that the first surveyor is a national assessment, the registered surveyors are all examinations thereafter. But each province passes less than dozens of people on average every year. It can be seen from its difficulty that basically every registered surveyor and mapper is close to the authority of the surveying and mapping industry in each province.
1. Engineering surveying, road and bridge, water conservancy engineering or civil engineering related majors, college degree or above.
2. More than 3 years working experience in measurement field;
3. Familiar with the use of level, theodolite, total station and other related measuring instruments;
4. Familiar with engineering measurement and construction business processes, and have strong engineering measurement skills;
5. Skilled in using various drawing software such as autocad.
6. Good communication and coordination ability;
7, honest and stable, strong sense of responsibility;
8, good physical conditions, can adapt to long-term work abroad, hard-working.
The national average monthly salary is 10,000 yuan, and the floating range is between 10,000 and 20,000 yuan.
The summer months when the weather is better are peak periods for survey engineers. However, it is common for surveying engineers to work in severe weather conditions. Some measurement items involve a certain number of dangerous situations, depending on the region and climate as well as the vegetation and wildlife conditions. Survey engineers may specialize in one or more specific types of surveys.
1. Carry out construction measurement procedures, specifications and standards, be responsible for transfer piles and construction retesting, line release, construction process control measurement, monitoring measurement and data analysis within the project scope, and use monitoring data to guide construction and completion measurement work.
2. The preparation of engineering measurement plan and monitoring measurement plan shall be reported after approval by the chief engineer.
3. Responsible for the management of measuring instruments in the project department, and establish a measuring instrument account and maintenance account. (Contains certificate of conformity, equipment instruction manual, accessories manual, verification record, appraisal certificate, maintenance record, etc.).
4, in accordance with relevant national regulations to achieve regular inspections, periodic re-inspection, do not use the school, careful maintenance. To maintain the accuracy of the measurement equipment.
5. According to the technical process of the project, there are planned and step-by-step technical training for surveying personnel. It enables them to master the knowledge of measurement, measurement specifications, and use of measurement instruments.
6. Check the design drawings before the start of work, find and report any problems in a timely manner, and make sure that the measurement and payoff work can be carried out after confirmation. All centerline and level measurements must have detailed icon calculations and crossovers.
7. Strictly implement the dual inspection system for measurement work. All re-testing of piles, completion survey of construction, laying-out, check-out, etc. must be double-checked, that is, re-checked measurements. One measurement group uses different methods to measure and check the results or the two measurement groups measure and check the results separately.
8. Responsible for project monitoring and measurement, statistics, summary and report of monitoring data. The data should be true and accurate, and the monitoring data should be used to guide the construction.
9. Responsible for filling in, reporting and sorting out various measurement data.
10. Other tasks arranged by the leader.
