What are different types of federal internships?

In the United States, there are a wide range of federal internships in a number of federal agencies, from the Federal Investigation Office (FBI) to the environmental protection agency (EPA). Federal internships are available in a number of subjects, regardless of the agency. Some agencies offer internships that focus on the specific role of the agency, such as the FBI. Other agencies have more general internships. For example, a student who is interested in communication and the media can apply for a media internship with the National Ocean and atmospheric administration (NOAA), even if it is not interested in the weather.

The FBI internship program is available for university and postgraduate students. Federal internships for the last 10 weeks during the summer and are paid. Media trainees usually work in Washington, DC or Maryland, while trainees of oceanographic and marine biology work in areas across the country like Alaska or Chesapeake Bay.

Most federal internships are only available to students who are the United States. Most students will have to have an above -average average point and be at least part -time at school, although many internships are open to full -time students. Many internships also require students to pass on security clearances.
