Public Funding Students
- Applicants should be full-time staff and outstanding students of institutions of higher learning, enterprises, institutions, administrative organs, scientific research institutions, and meet the following basic conditions:

- 2. Has a good professional foundation and development potential, and the foreign language level meets the requirements stipulated in the "Conditions for the Study of Foreign Languages Funded by the National Study Abroad";

Types of government-funded study abroad applications
- 1 . PhD student
- Applicants must be under 35 years of age (born after March 20, 1976), have a master's degree, or be a fresh graduate undergraduate, or be a graduate student (including fresh graduates), or a PhD student. Applicants from colleges and universities should apply for full-time students at colleges and universities (except for entrusted training and orientation students). When applying, you must submit a copy of the admission letter or invitation letter from a foreign educational institution, a copy of the tuition waiver or tuition support certificate, a study plan (foreign language) signed by a foreign tutor, a copy of the IELTS / TOEFL test transcript or a foreign institution Certificate of foreign language qualification issued by the school / tutor. Enrollment time is in principle the year of application.
- 2 Joint training of doctoral students
- Applicants should be full-time outstanding doctoral students studying in universities / research institutions, aged 35 or younger (born after March 20, 1976); copies of admission notices or official invitation letters issued by foreign educational institutions must be submitted when applying Documents, a training plan jointly developed by domestic and foreign mentors, a certificate of enrollment in the school to be attended, a foreign language examination (nuclear) certificate issued by the selection unit or a foreign language qualification certificate issued by a foreign institution, a tutor, or a copy of the IELTS / TOEFL / WSK test transcript And explanation of possible expenses related to the study; enrollment time is the year of application. - Applicants must be under 30 years of age (born after March 20, 1981) and should have a bachelor's degree or be a good fresh graduate; a copy of the admission notice issued by a foreign education institution must be submitted when applying. - 4 . Visiting Scholar (including postdoctoral research)
- The applicant must be under 50 years of age (born after March 20, 1961) and should be a full-time employee of a college or university, enterprise or institution, administrative unit at any level, or scientific research unit. After graduating from a bachelor degree, you should have at least 5 years of work experience, and after graduating from a master's degree, you should have at least 2 years work experience. There is no requirement for working years for applicants with a PhD degree.
- Applicants for post-doctoral research should be excellent working young teachers or scientific researchers with a doctorate degree in a university or a scientific research unit, who are specifically engaged in teaching or scientific research. The application should be within 3 years from the time of graduation of their doctoral degree (graduation after March 20, 2008).
- 5 . Senior Research Scholar
- The age of the applicant should not be more than 55 years old (born after March 20, 1956); the applicant should be a formal staff member of a college, enterprise, institution, administrative unit, or scientific research unit at any level. Among them, teaching and research personnel shall be professors and doctoral supervisors.
- In addition to meeting the above conditions, one of the following conditions is also required:
- The backbone of the State Key Laboratory, the Key Laboratory of the Ministry of Education, and the National Engineering (Technical) Research Center;
- Specially-appointed professors of "Yangtze River Scholars" or the backbone of the innovation team identified by the Ministry of Education that year, or those selected by the "New Century Talent Plan" and other national talent plan candidates;
- Academic leader of national key disciplines approved by the Ministry of Education;
- The senior administrative personnel of the central state organs, local administrative departments, and state-owned large and medium-sized enterprises shall have or be equivalent to administrative positions at or above the deputy department level (including deputy department level).
- Projects with special requirements on category conditions shall be implemented in accordance with specific project regulations.
- 5. Those who have enjoyed funding from the National Study Abroad Fund to study abroad must apply for a full five years after returning to work. Those who return to study abroad in the following projects are not subject to this restriction: undergraduate internship programs in Britain, Infosys internship programs in India, Sino-German short-term scholarship exchange programs (DAAD / DFG), Sino-German doctoral students joint research project, Japan Dentsu PhD research project, The Japan Society for the Promotion of Science Thesis Doctoral Scholarship Program, China-Scotland Doctoral Education and Scientific Research Partnership Program (Visiting Scholar Category), Greek Exchange Scholarship Program, PhD Supervisor Short-term Study Abroad Exchange Program, Young Backbone Teachers Study Abroad Program (Provide International Travel funding).
- The scope of funding of the National Study Absence Fund does not currently include other people in China and those who are studying or working abroad.
- Applications for those who have been funded by the National Study Fund but not implemented are not accepted for the time being.
