Although internships are not required for on-campus courses, more than one-third of MBA, MPA, and dual-degree students still participate in summer and internships throughout the school year. We invite many companies, governments, social groups and non-governmental organizations to participate in our growing internship programs. The units that provide internship opportunities for our students include the Environmental Protection Foundation (EDF) Climate Corps project. Students who have received professional training, as solvers of energy problems, enter commercial enterprises, institutions, and universities for project development and research. The Environmental Protection Foundation Climate Corps project provides funding for students, encourages students to cooperate with hundreds of units, and the survey found that each research project can save about $ 1 million in energy. Our students also participate in project internships and work in companies such as City of Austin, Genzyme, AT & T, Coca-Cola, Ascension Health, New York City Housing Authority, Walmart and other companies. In addition, the school's three internship programs received funding from the Betsy and Jesse Fink Family Foundation.
