Medic is a person who has been trained and certified as a medical assistant. Medical workers can be found in hospitals, ambulances, public entertainment parks, youth camps and combat units. There are different types of medical tasks, including emergency medical technician (EMT), rescuers, tactical doctors and combat doctors. Each position requires a different type of training and certification. In the US, most areas divide doctors into basic EMT and rescuers-EMT, while some states include the middle position. Canada uses the term emergency medical attendance (EMA) and adds a number such as EMA-1 or EMA-2 to indicate the level of training of the doctor that the practitioner has achieved. Trauming training, trauma life, field safety, medical terminology and interpretation of electrocardiogram (ECG) are also required. Some states allow EMT to attach intravenous fluid treatment (IVS), while others reserve it for rescuers. All the doctorThey are obliged to pass both written and clinical trials regardless of their level of expertise.
Rescuers must take 1,200 and 1,500 hours of medical training and can get a two -year associated title. In some countries, the person cannot start to complete further rescue training until one to two years of verifiable experience as a basic EMT. In addition to the completion of basic training, rescuers usually take part in courses in therapy IV, psychology, pharmacology, cardiology, trauma and emergency medicine.
Further training received by Paramedics allows them to perform more medical procedures. In some areas, rescuers may serve advanced airway management techniques such as tracheotomy, which includes cutting into the trachea above the obstacle and inserting the respiratory tube. The basic EMT is limited to administration of oxygen, glucose and asthma drugs; Rescuers can serve 30Up to 40 different medicines. They are also trained in the procedures of saving life, including lung decompression of needles for the treatment of collapsed lung therapy and electric shock to revive the heart of the patient.
Medic Training can also be specialized. Tactical doctors are experienced emergency medical staff who take a specific training to work with units in criminal proceedings. In addition to the above medical courses, the tactical remedy is given in sewing, the treatment of serious gunshot and foot wounds and police training in response to enemy situations.
Also, various branches of the army are supposed to train Medic for combat physicians. In the US, special training before deployment is required before the doctor goes to the combat zone. Doctors in areas other than boys have an ambulance filled with the equipment available, in addition to constant contact with trained medical staff by telephone or radio. However, the combat physician does not have this support. Must respond only to the equipment to whichIt can bear, and must perform their own sorting or evaluation, stop bleeding from serious wounds or amputation and stabilize the patient enough to remove it from the enemy environment.
