What Does a Fence Erector Do?
A fence is a fence.

Fence General
- Design guidelines
- (1) The tolerance design concept should be adopted to properly handle obstacles in the safe side zone of the road;
- (2) When the width of the safety clear zone on the side of the highway cannot be satisfied, it shall be handled safely according to the principle of setting up guardrails;
- (3) The transition between different types of roadbed guardrails or between the roadbed guardrails and bridge guardrails should be carried out.
- Design sequence
- (1) Collect data on the horizontal and vertical alignment of highways, filling and excavation data, and the composition of operating vehicles, traffic volume, operating speed, and design speed;
- (2) Collect or investigate the distribution of various obstacles in the safety net area on both sides of the highway and data that intersect with other highways, railways, etc .;
- (3) Determine the anti-collision level of the guardrail and select the guardrail type.
Fence Setting Principles
- Roadside fence
- (1) Roadside guardrails must be provided on road sections where vehicles may leave the road that may cause two major accidents.
- (2) Roadside guardrails must be provided on road sections that meet one of the following conditions, which may cause a catastrophic bicycle accident or a second major accident when the vehicle exits the road:
- Sections within the prescribed range of slope slope and embankment height of Grade II and above highways;
- There are sections of rivers, rivers, lakes, seas, swamps, fairways and other waters along the road.
- (3) Roadside guardrails should be provided where roads that meet one of the following conditions are likely to cause major accidents when they are driven out of the road:
- Sections of grades 2 and above that fall within the specified range of slope slope and embankment height;
- There are lightings, cameras, variable information signs, traffic signs, road support walls, sound barriers, piers or abutments on upper-span bridges that are not safe for vehicles to pass through in the safe side zone of expressways and first-grade highways. Road section
- Excavated sections of side roads of Grade 2 and above roads without cover plates and vehicles that cannot be safely crossed;
- There are cliffs, deep valleys and deep trenches on the sides of the third and fourth grade roads.
