Institutional responsibilities of China Veterinary Association
- The highest authority of the Chinese Veterinary Association is the National Congress of Members, which is held every five years to elect a council. The council elects the president, vice president, secretary general and executive director of the association. During the period between the National Member Congress and the Council, the Standing Council exercises the functions and powers of the Council and implements the resolutions of the National Congress. The association has branches and offices. The branches include three working committees, including the Expert Working Committee, the Professional Ethics and Human Rights Working Committee, and the Education and Technology Working Committee, as well as the Pet Diagnosis and Treatment Branch, the Animal Diagnosis and Treatment Branch, the Animal Epidemic Prevention Branch, the Domestication and Experimental Animals Branch, the Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine Branch, and Animal Health Services and Welfare branch is waiting for 6 branches.
