What Does a Sports Journalist Do?

The China Sports Journalists Association was established in September 1979 and is a member of the All-China Sports Federation, the All-China Journalists Association, the International Sports Reporters Association, and the Asian Sports Reporters Federation. It is a national, professional mass group composed of journalists, editors, announcers, commentators, photographers and photographers engaged in sports reporting, including national newspapers, news agencies, radio, television and publishing houses. At present, China has established sports record associations in 28 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities directly under the Central Government, and serve as group members of our association. More than 40 news units in the capital have joined the China Sports Association as group members.

China Sports Record Association adopts a membership system, and the highest authority of the group is the National Committee. The members of the National Committee are elected by members of various organizations. The National Committee has a term of four years and currently has 181 members.

The association has four daily services such as the secretariat, business research department, public relations activities department, and outreach department.
