What is the body double?

doubling points are professionals who are shooting performers during the shooting scene for television or film production. The body double normally carries sufficient physical resemblance to an artist who is impossible to detect the difference when the distance, angle and lighting are in the right way. Doubling can be used when the scene requires an action that could be dangerous for a headlining artist, or when the artist's appearance is only random on the scene.

For the most part, you do not need to carry the double body with a significant similarity of the face to the artist. To achieve the correct effect, however, the overall tone of the skin, type of body, height and hair color is often considered necessary. Often the body is double -filmed from behind or remotely, so it is virtually impossible for tracking audiences whether the scene contains an artist or double.

In the first days of television, the body was particularly helpful in scenes where the artist would interview twins or other characters that should be the same in appearance.During the golden age of television, it was common to face the artist, while the body doubled only from behind. This arrangement would allow one actor to provide voice for both characters that could be dubbed after the scenes have been filmed and cut.

One of the most common types of double body is known as Stunt Double. This type of double body double is asked to act in scenes that require a large amount of physical exertion and can be somewhat dangerous. Since many headliners are paid well for their services, it may be necessary to detain production when the main actor or actress is injured on the scene, extremely expensive. Minimize the potential in the inpoorota to the star, the stunt double takes over when the scripting calls for car chases, escape from a burning building or any similar physical action. To protect themselves, stuntmen are usually highly trained in how to perform different actions with a minimum chance of injury.

as with actors and hErček, a Hollywood body double usually belongs to the Union and is paid at least a minimum daily wage, which is referred to as a scale. Television productions can decide to use the double body for running or as needed.
