Differences between postgraduate courses and in-service graduate courses

The postgraduate course is not a degree education. It is a non-educational and non-produced form of teaching for in-service personnel to improve their business level. It is not directly linked to the award of a master's degree or a graduation certificate.

The postgraduate course certificate can only prove that the student has attended this postgraduate course. It cannot prove that it is a graduate student. If you graduate, you can continue to study for a master's degree. ^[2]

The Office of the Academic Degrees Committee [1997] No. 2 provides:

The name of the course is uniformly designated as "graduate course refresher course". Those who pass the course must only issue the "graduate course refresher certificate" and cannot be named "master degree" or "graduation". Those who have not completed the course or failed the grade will be issued with a single certificate.
