What is a Licensed Practical Nurse?

Practicing nurse refers to the title of a nurse who has obtained a certificate and needs to pass a series of assessments.

Those who have not obtained the qualification of nurses, in accordance with the "Nursing Regulations", graduates (including 2009 graduates) who meet one of the following conditions and have completed clinical nursing internships for more than 8 months in teaching and general hospitals Take the Nursing Junior (Judge) Professional and Technical Qualification Examination:
(1) Educational qualifications in nursing and midwifery in general full-time secondary vocational schools recognized by the education and health authorities at the provincial level and above;
(2) A college degree in nursing and midwifery in an ordinary full-time college that has been recognized by the competent department of education and health above the provincial level;
(3) Bachelor degree or above in nursing and midwifery majors in ordinary full-time colleges and universities recognized by the competent department of education of the State Council.
Candidates' qualifications are reviewed by the provincial health administrative department. Those who pass the examination are issued a certificate of passing the examination results by the Talent Exchange Service Center of the Ministry of Health as a valid certificate for applying for nurse registration.
Those with secondary or tertiary education in nursing and midwifery majors who pass all four subjects will be able to obtain a nursing junior (specialist) professional and technical qualification certificate. Those with a bachelor's degree or above in nursing and midwifery majors who have obtained a certificate of passing the examination and have reached the qualifications for the professional and technical positions of nurses as stipulated in the Trial Regulations on the Position of Health Technologists, may directly employ professional and technical positions of nurses.
