Public Relations Consulting is the first public relations firm in the United States. In 1903, Lee Ivey and George Mitches, former reporters of the New York Times, set up a public relations consulting firm in New York for the first time, becoming the first public relations company to provide customers with public relations consulting services and receive compensation. As soon as the firm was established, the business was booming and customers were profitable. Its customers included many of the largest corporations in the United States at the time, such as American Telephone and Telegraph Company, Pennsylvania Railroad Company, Fair Life Insurance Company, and even New York City Mayor Thien Lowe. ^[1]
