What Is Fire Extinguisher Training?
The annual inspection of fire extinguishers is an industry standard that regulates the repair of fire extinguishers. The standards are applicable to the maintenance and scrapping of portable fire extinguishers and trolley fire extinguishers, and are applicable to the evaluation of the maintenance conditions and maintenance capabilities of fire extinguisher repair units. Maintenance and scrapping of other types of fire extinguishers can be performed with reference to standards.

- 1. After each use of the fire extinguisher, it must be sent to a maintenance unit that has obtained a maintenance permit (hereinafter referred to as the maintenance unit) for inspection, replacement of damaged parts, refilling of fire extinguishing agent and driving gas.
- 2. Whether the fire extinguisher has been used or has not been used, when the specified period of time has passed from the date of shipment, it must be sent to the maintenance unit for hydraulic pressure test inspection.
- 3. Portable and cart-type 1211 fire extinguishers, portable and cart-type dry powder fire extinguishers. And portable and cart-type carbon dioxide fire extinguishers expire five years, and every two years thereafter, hydraulic pressure tests and other inspections must be performed.
- 4. The portable and cart-type mechanical foam fire extinguishers and portable water fire extinguishers have expired for three years. After that, every two years, a hydraulic pressure test must be performed.
- 5. Portable and trolley-type chemical foam fire extinguishers and portable acid-base fire extinguishers have expired for two years. Every other year thereafter, a hydraulic pressure test must be performed.
