What Is a Rio Trade?

Rio de Janeiro (Portuguese: Rio de Janeiro, meaning "the river of January"), referred to as Rio, was once the capital of Brazil (1763-1960), located in the coastal area of southeast Brazil, bordering the Atlantic Ocean in the southeast and a long coastline 636 kilometers. Rio de Janeiro belongs to the savannah climate. It is hot all year round, the temperature difference between year and day is small, and the seasons are evenly distributed.

Seven other cities have been identified for bidding for the 2016 Olympic Games: Baku (Azerbaijan), Chicago (USA), Doha (Qatar), Madrid (Spain), Prague (Czech Republic) and Tokyo (Japan). In the early morning of October 3, 2009, Beijing time, the 121st Plenary Session of the International Olympic Committee was held in Copenhagen, Denmark. Rio de Janeiro defeated Madrid, Spain, Chicago, and Tokyo, Japan, and won the 31st Summer Olympic Games in 2016. Right to host, Brazil became the first South American country to host the Olympic Games. [15]
