What is a Vice Tax?

Official name. Yuan Dynasty. In the second year of Taizong (1230), ten people were Zhao Yan, Liu Yan, Wang Zhen, Liu Zizhen, Gao Tingying, Jia Cong, Wang Rui, Hou Xian, Cheng Tai, and Li Tianyi. Dongping, Beijing, Pingzhou, and Jinan Shi Road collect tax deputy envoys, assisting each road to collect tax assessors. ^[1]
