What is a Wasting Asset?

Consumption of fixed assets is the loss of fixed assets during use. Fixed assets can participate in the production process multiple times, and their capital consumption is transferred to the product cost one by one, and is compensated from the sales of goods. Because fixed capital consumption is a reserve fund, fixed capital consumption is the restoration of original capital only when the fixed asset is fully scrapped. [1]
