- The exempt substances were determined by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare of Japan based on the risk assessment results of their own country, the Joint FAO / WHO Food Additive Expert Committee, the Joint FAO / WHO Pesticide Residual Expert Committee, and other countries and regions. Japan does not have any limit requirements for this part of the substance
