What is the Amman Stock Exchange?

Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) is a non -profit, privately controlled market trading market. ASE is the only stock exchange operating in Jordan and has active markets for trading in stocks and bonds. It is the seat of and named after Amman, the capital of Jordan. The Amman Stock Exchange was founded in 1999 and grew over the next decade. The shares index is compiled and managed by the AMMAN financial market based on ASE stock prices and uses a standard methodology to reflect the performance of securities listed here. Market stores are carried out anonymously and buyers and sellers are corresponded to the internal exchange software. The identity of traders participating in the transaction becomes visible after the trade record, but no information beyond the identity of the licensed traders of the Indov agreement is published. These brokers are entrusted with the Jordanian Securities Commission. In addition to these restrictions, foreigners do not make any significant limits in trading with ASE.

Jordan does not impose any tax on capital revenues from the stock market transactions. There are no limits for trading or transferring profits to the exchange or transfer of profits on the stock exchange to other countries. Jordan negotiated several contracts, especially with neighboring countries to prevent double taxation of profits.

The Amman Stock Exchange is financed by a small commission collected on any business mediated. This fee helps finance the Infrastructure for the AMMAN AMMAN exchange and funds Jordanian Securities Commission and Celialies Deicontory Center, which also provides services and support for the Amman stock exchange. Commission that brokers trading on the stock exchange may charge billing for a trade mediated through the stock exchange must be less than a certain percentage of trade value.

The Amman Stock Exchange is associated with other world stock exchanges and exchange systems.
