What Is the Australian Securities Exchange?

One of Australia's two stock exchanges, the Australian Securities Exchange Limited (ASX), and the Australian National Stock Exchange (NSX), the stock exchanges of the other six states are its wholly owned subsidiaries. Standard time is implemented from the last Saturday in March to the last Saturday in October. The trading hours of the four stock exchanges in Adelaide, Hobart, Melbourne and Sydney are Monday to Friday, 9 am to 11:15 am Minutes, from 1 to 2:15 in the afternoon. The Brisbane Stock Exchange is open Monday to Friday from 10 am to 12:15 pm and from 2 pm to 3:15 pm. Perth Stock Exchange is from Monday to Friday, 10 am to 12:15 pm, 2 pm to 3:15 pm, and 5 pm to 5:30 pm. Trading can be done beyond the above time, but the broker must contact all buyers and sellers that have been announced so that everyone has an opportunity to participate.
