What is youth sponsorship?

The intention of the Youth Sponsorship program for indigenous youth is to help in their business and political education. Qualified young people are offered free registration to participate in conferences related to the program. Many of the indigenous people who participate in these conferences are either young workers, and elected or unable to elected members of the government or other institutions. However, indigenous youth unconnected with government institutions do not have funds to register and participate in forums and conferences. Within this group they are most and there are many people who would benefit from educational and network connections provided by these youth advisors and educational conferences.

The objectives of sponsorship programs for young people are beneficial to the native youth and to seize them to participate in the political and economic development of their community.
