What are the causes of aggression in adolescence?
The adolescent phase is often full of uncertainty and confusion for many adolescents due to physical changes in their bodies, chemical imbalances that result from unstable hormones and reconsider their role in the family and in wider society. Such contradictory factors can contribute to common explosions of aggression, which is a known phenomenon in some adolescents who do not know how to direct their confusion properly. Other factors that can contribute to adolescent aggression include unfortunate or offensive domestic situations, exposure to persistent violence and other influences such as provocation by others and low self -esteem.
The possible causes of aggression in adolescence are numerous and can be caused by one factor or combination of factors that may not be easily predictable. For example, the environment can play a huge role in the development and exhibition of aggression in adolescence. This is evident in the way the advertisement shows aggressive tendencies in one environment while limiting the same behavior in another space. Such a factor is not always the same, because some adolescents are by their very nature prone to aggression as a result of their individual constitution than in an external factor.
One cause of adolescence is an exposure to an abusing or unfortunate domestic situation that causes such a person to go to others as a means of ventilation of suppressed emotions or frustrations from these factors. For example, adolescents with an offensive and alcoholic parent could again be aggressive to release some feelings of anger in such a situation. Another factor that can cause aggression in adolescence is the constant exposure of violence from various sources, including films, news and games, leading to negative conditioning or desensitizing individual to society standards.
Some adolescents with very low self -esteem can also show aggression in an effort to cover their perceived shortcomings that make up other, especiallytheir peers. This anger is often at the root of bullying, where bullying derives some perverted pleasure in efforts to make others feel as bad as they feel secret. Another factor that could cause adolescence aggression is the general state or the immaturity of this particular group of people who are still in the process of understanding how to relate to other in a more mature and controlled way.
