What are the different causes of arrhythmia?

The causes of arrhythmia may include smoking, abuse of addictive substances, abuse of caffeine or the use of certain regulations or over -the -counter drugs. Some people can develop arrhythmias in response to stress or strong emotions. However, these types of arrhythmias are usually smaller and have no reason to worry. Basic conditions, including heart disease and thyroid dysfunction, can cause more serious arrhythmias. The conditions that lead to structural damage in the heart muscle are considered to be the main causes of the arrhythmia.

heart conditions and defects are considered to be the most common causes of arrhythmia. In a healthy heart, electrical impulses usually regulate muscle contraction otherwise known as a heart rhythm. In the heart of damaged diseases or defects, these electrical impulses can shoot irregularly, leading to irregularity in heart rhythm or arrhythmia.

heart disease or defects usually cause arrhythmias for one of two reasons. Damage to the heart of the heart muscle, or the death of the tissue in the heart, can cause electricTrick impulses that regulate the heart rhythm incorrectly or irregularly. Defect and heart disease can also reduce blood flow to the heart. The heart usually cannot beat regularly if it does not have sufficient blood supply.

Diseases and defects that cause the arrhythmia at the top of the arrhythmia in general include cardiomyopathy, a condition in which the walls of the ventricles or lower ventricles stretch or thicken. If the walls of the chambers stretch and the chambers are enlarged, the condition is usually called expansion cardiomyopathy. If the walls of the chambers are thickened and the chambers are shrinking, the condition is generally called hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. Both conditions may be less effective and inhibits the blood flow to the muscle.

The causes of arrhythmia may also include a valve disease. Valvular diseases can cause the heart valves to become too narrow and even escape. Defects in heart valves often lead to enlargement of the heart chambers, which deteriorateE blood flow to the muscle.

Coronary arteries or CAD diseases are considered to be another arrhythmic common causes. Coronary artery disease usually leads to a narrowing of the arteries in the heart. This is considered the main cause of the heart attack. When a heart attack occurs, part of the heart tissue usually dies and a scar can form. Dead tissue in the heart and tissue of scar on the heart muscle are usually considered to be the main causes of arrhythmia.
