Ladder lift is a special machine for people with reduced mobility to go up and down floors. There are 3 types. (1) Sitting. A platform equipped with a power unit on the handrail of the staircase can seat one person and can be raised and lowered along the stairs. (2) Vertical car type. The style is a semi-closed cage, which can be accessed by wheelchairs, and is vertically lifted between floors. (3) Car type. The style is similar to an ordinary elevator, but it can be used for wheelchairs. ^[1]
