What causes sessile polyp?

Like other polyps, the polyp is caused by abnormal cell growth, which can be caused by various factors. Some of these factors can be prevented and some do not. The treatment of sitting polyps depends on the birthplace. Smaller, benign polyps are often simply left alone. Larger or cancer polyps are removed by pliers or simple surgery.

Screenings are also essential for catching polyps when the timing of their development. People 50 years or more should have regular colonoscopy to detect polyps. Polyps that are detected early can be removed by a surgeon, which can prevent complications such as cancer development.
