What Is Birth Trauma?
Birth trauma. A translation of "birth trauma." In the baby's subconscious experience of the mechanical difficulties and psychological fears experienced during childbirth or separation from the mother. Originating from ancient Buddhist legends, psychoanalytic theory is further explained. Psychoanalytic theory suggests that babies are bound to cause trauma when they leave a warm, quiet uterus that is supplied with food, oxygen, and is born into a world full of noisy, hungry, cold, and difficult breathing. According to Freud, this kind of trauma is the greatest anxiety of human beings, and it is the basis for all anxiety in the future. Any traumatic experience will leave traces in the individual's head, affecting his normal rational thinking. [1]
