What is physical dysphoria?

Dysphoria is a medical term that refers to the emotional discomfort that is part of the recognizable mental disruption. In particular, psychiatrists use this term to describe a number of mental problems, from depressive mood due to grief, to problems such as a disorder of gender identity, where the affected person feels that his physical sex is incorrect. As a descriptive term, bodily dysphoria is most often compared to a disorder of gender identity, but people who suffer from dysmorphic body syndrome who consider their body unattractive can also be described as a physical dysphoria.

coming from the Greek word dysphoros , which means it is difficult to bear, dysphoria itself is not a state, but rather a word that can be used to describe the disaster with a psychological problem. In addition to the disaster, the word can also mean anxiety, depressive moods or increased irritability. Restlessness is another type of mood that can be described as dysphoria.

a disorder of gender identity isA condition that is well recognized by medical and psychiatric fields, although the cause, since 2012, has not yet been known. People suffering from this situation, which is also known as gender dysphoria and sometimes as physical dysphoria, feel they live in a bad gender body. The emotional symptoms of this physical mismatch may include anxiety and depression, as well as the restlessness and feeling of persistent discomfort. It is these emotional problems that are suitable for dysphoria label, but it is possible that the main cause of the disorder is the problem of brain and body development.

People with sex or body dysphoria may have emotional problems as a result of the state itself, but they can also experience depressed moods due to lack of adoption of other people. The possible treatment of the disorder is a fairy -tale change that involves undergoing cosmetic surgery and treating hormones to change the physical characteristics of human body. The reluctance fully accept gender roles and appearance is common in childhood, but people with the real body of dysphoria experience theseFeelings throughout their lives.

Because dysphoria is a descriptive term than a single state, it can also be used to describe the disaster with other areas of life except for gender problems. A person can occasionally use bodily dysphoria to describe the condition more correctly called dysmorphia of the body. With this psychiatric state of disability, people place disproportionate emphasis on a perceived physical error that can affect normal everyday life and cause emotional problems.
