What Is Micrographia?

Photomicrography refers to the method of photographing tiny marks and objects by connecting a camera and a microscope. When forensic identification encounters small objects or traces that are invisible or indistinguishable to the naked eye, it can be observed with a microscope, and photographic methods can be used to record and fix images reflected in the microscope, which can provide image data and comparison samples for identification. The microscopes used in forensic identification are: biological microscopes, solid microscopes, comparative microscopes, polarizing microscopes, fluorescence microscopes, electronic scanning and transmission microscopes. Different microscopes have different functions, and the methods and requirements for taking pictures vary. Using different light sources and other auxiliary equipment, it can be used for ultraviolet photomicrography and infrared photomicrography. ^[1]
