What Is Vulvar Dermatitis?

Vulvar neurodermatitis is a chronic vulvar skin disease manifested by itching of the vulva and moss of the skin. It is not a primary disease, but a lesion secondary to other itchy skin diseases. It is limited to the vulva and is also known as chronic Simple moss.

Clinical manifestations of vulvar neurodermatitis

Vulva itching. The skin is mossy, the skin is thickened and rough, and the vulva sees compact papules of various sizes, with small scales on the surface, and scratches, blood clots, hyperpigmentation, or hypopigmentation.

Differential diagnosis of vulvar neurodermatitis

It needs to be distinguished from vulvar pruritic diseases such as vulvar eczema, sclerosing moss, squamous epithelial cell proliferation of the vulva, and vigilance of the vulva.
