What Are the Different Ways to Clean a Computer Monitor?

A display is often referred to as a monitor. The display is an I / O device belonging to a computer, that is, an input / output device. It is a display tool that displays a certain electronic file on the screen through a specific transmission device and then reflects it to the human eye.

Computer monitors are also commonly referred to as computer monitors or computer screens. It is the most important computer component besides CPU, motherboard, memory, power supply, keyboard, and mouse. So far, the concept of computer monitors has not been unified, but their understanding is largely the same. As the name suggests, it should be a display tool that displays certain electronic files on the screen through a specific transmission device and then reflects them to the human eye.
From the early black and white world to the current color world, computer monitors have gone through a long and arduous journey. With the continuous development of display technology,
1.The power indicator is off
There are generally two types of power supply for the display, one is the host power supply, and the other is the external power supply. When this kind of failure occurs, you should first check the respective power sockets, and pay attention to check whether the power switch of the sockets is turned on. [1]
The display works in a certain environment for a long time and is affected by various environmental factors, including humidity, temperature, cleanliness, electromagnetic interference and power. Therefore, in order to stabilize the display performance, it is necessary to understand and master the general maintenance knowledge and maintenance methods of the display.
1.Humidity factor
Humidity generally works between 30% and 80%, but if the indoor humidity is higher than 80%, it will cause condensation inside the display, and its high-voltage parts will easily cause discharge, which will damage the display in severe cases. Tubes and components inside the machine are susceptible to rust and corrosion, and in severe cases will short circuit boards. When the indoor humidity is lower than 30%, electrostatic interference will be generated inside the display, and the possibility of components being damaged by static electricity will increase greatly, which will affect the normal work of the display. Therefore, the display must be protected from moisture. If the display is not used for a long time, it is best to periodically power on and work for a period of time to use the heat generated by the display to work to evaporate the moisture in the machine.
2.Temperature factor
The internal components of the display, such as integrated circuits, transistors, power transformers, high-power resistors, etc., must generate a large amount of heat during work. Their working performance and service life will be greatly reduced at excessively high ambient temperatures. Make the display work unstable, and the components will accelerate aging. Therefore, there should be enough space around the display, preferably in a ventilated place to dissipate heat. In summer, it is best to place the display in an air-conditioned room or use an electric fan to help dissipate heat.
3.Dust factor
The high voltage in the display is as high as 10kV ~ 20kV. Such a high voltage can easily attract dust particles in the air. The dust adsorbed on the printed circuit board will affect the heat dissipation of electronic components, and may also cause leakage phenomenon and burn out the components. Therefore, the working environment must be kept clean.
4. Magnetic field factor
The sources of electromagnetic interference are AC power, unshielded speakers, and electromagnetic fields generated by large power-consuming household appliances such as fluorescent lamps, televisions, refrigerators, and fans. Prolonged exposure to magnetic fields may magnetize or damage the display, so the display should be placed far away from the electromagnetic field.
5.Power factor
Although the operating voltage of the display is relatively large, it may also cause component damage due to transient high-voltage impact. If the operating voltage is unstable, the image on the display screen will be abnormal. In this case, immediately turn off the power and wait for the voltage to stabilize. So generally use a socket with a fuse, if possible, it is best to match a UPS (uninterruptible power supply). [3]
