- Consistency check (parallel shot) is a production preparation for checking the consistency of seismic traces; consistency is that each seismic trace has the same characteristics so that multiple records can be made.
- Before the consistency check of the seismic traces, the consistency check of the amplifiers should be performed first. The amplifiers can be struck in parallel after tapping a detector as input to check whether the outputs of the amplifiers are consistent. The method of checking the consistency of seismic traces is to dig a rectangular shallow pit in a good condition and place the same number of geophones in the pit, and the geophone and the ground should be in good contact. Then select an appropriate distance to excite by knocking or exploding. The vibration received by each channel should have the same phase, amplitude and waveform to be qualified. [1]
