What Is a CSV File?
Comma-Separated Values ( CSV ) are sometimes called character-separated values because the delimiting characters can also be non-commas. Their files store tabular data (numbers and text) in plain text. Plain text means that the file is a sequence of characters and contains no data that must be interpreted like a binary number. A CSV file consists of any number of records, separated by some kind of line break; each record consists of fields, and the separator between fields is other characters or strings, the most common is comma or tab. Generally, all records have exactly the same sequence of fields. These are usually plain text files. It is recommended to use WORDPAD or Notepad to open, and then save as a new file and then open it with EXCEL, which is also one of the methods.
- CSV is a universal, relatively simple file format that is widely used by users, businesses, and science. The most widely used is to transfer tabular data between programs that themselves operate on incompatible formats (often proprietary and / or non-standard formats). Because many programs support a certain CSV variant, at least as an alternative input / output format. [1]

- For address data to be successfully converted to a CSV text file, all addresses must contain the same number of rows and the number of rows separated between each address set must be the same. For example, change the address example to the following:
- A1: Jane Clayton
- A2: Microsoft
- A3: 456 Elm Street
- A4: Sometown, USA 67890
- A5:
