What is a notebook motherboard?

The Notebook base is a primary plate with a flat circuit (PCB) inside the notebook that contains components that will function the computer. Most cases of desktop computer are similar in size and use similar configurations, allowing them to use the same types of motherboards. However, laptops exist in many sizes and configurations, which means that several different motherboards are required.
