What is a time database?
The temporal database is like a standard database, with one big exception: it understands and records time. For example, if someone has worked in the company from 2011 to 2020, a temporary database will be able to store both data, as if time starts and when it is over. The standard database can only show that the employee is hired, and his employee information would have to be removed when the employee leaves the company because the standard databases only understand the present. This standard was created in 1993 and implemented in 1994. All temporary databases include a valid time and integer transaction that shows when the time in real life occurred, and when the database was modified to accept the change. This caused several problems, the most obvious thing is that time events could not be monitored from the beginning, but only according to the current state of the event. Another problem that has arisen from this is that if the date was associated with the primary key or line name, then this primary key couldto be used again and again and create redundant data.
In order to alleviate these problems, the database community was invited to create a time variable that could be integrated into the database format. The time database was created in 1993 and implemented in 1994. With this change, the databases were able to monitor when the event was and when it ended, which helped many businesses, government authorities and schools.
Two different variables have been added to the timing scheme: a valid transaction time and time. The time is when the data entered has become real life. For example, if someone changed their address, a valid time would be when the address had changed. The transaction time is when the event has seen an event that could be a few hours or days later. The transaction time is constantly updating, so database administrators can check how current data is.
