What is an UMPC?
It is an abbreviation of Ultra-mobile Personal Computer, literally translated as: "Super Mobile Personal Computer", a new type of portable notebook computer. The concept was proposed by Intel. The advertising word set up by Microsoft for this new project is: "Want to know where I am? I'm by the sea, I'm on the hilltop, I'm in the underpass, I'm in the car, I'm with you Do you want to know who I am? "So Microsoft called it the Origami plan, Intel called it UMPC, and VIA called UMD. Simply put, UMPC is a Tablet PC with a special version of the Windows XP Tablet operating system, but it is much smaller. At the same time, it can expand functions, including GPS. There are also linux system versions, such as ASUS Easy PC.
