What is EII?
EII is another shortcut of business. Means integration of business information . In its most basic EII it pulls data from different sources and creates one presentation. However, this data summary is only for reading, but this is not read. In other words, the EII creates temporary copies of all data to which it is accessed and leaves the original data at virtual places where they live in the transmission of "images" of these data to target systems for the end user reporting. This virtual data storage is perhaps the most unique feature of the EII.
EII is implemented over the Internet. Unlike other types of integration, such as EAI, EII allows access to data in three formats: structured, semi -structured and unstructured. Structured data include server collections such as Oracle, SQL Server and Sybase. Semi-structured data are emails and tables. Unstructured data are text documents and multimedia presentations, data is not easily converted by virtual information. For example withPolyry can have information about the subject in documents for text processing, table and website. Using the EII, the Company can have this data delivered from these multiple formats to a cohesive message for easy viewing.
EII is also suitable for creating messages that mix live and static data. For example, the company's CFO might want to create a report comparing assets and expenditure of the current year with the advantage of previous years. Data from previous years are probably stored in a data warehouse or in another format to protect static data, while the data in the current year is probably stored in easily available dynamic servers. Using the EII, this financial director can collect data from the current year and from previous years to create a compreyent report on comparison.
EII has many applications for companies and users large and small. Is dynamic and efficient and quickly gainson popularity and functionality.
