What is the Socket 478B?

Socket 478b, named after its number of PIN contacts, is the central processing unit socket (CPU) by Semiconductor Intel Corporation. It was released mainly in 2007 for some laptop chips (PC) under its brand Core 2; The component is also called Socket P.
