What Is the AES Algorithm?

AES technology is a symmetric block encryption technology that uses 128-bit block encryption data to provide higher encryption strength than WEP / TKIPS RC4 algorithm. The encryption and decryption tables of AES are separate and support sub-key encryption, which is better than the previous method of decrypting with a special key. The AES algorithm supports arbitrary packet sizes and has a fast initial time. In particular, its parallelism can effectively use processor resources. [1]
