What is Windows® 7?
Microsoft® Windows 7® is an operating system for personal and business computers, including desktop computers and laptops. During its development, Windows 7 was a code named Blackhorn and Vienna. The unofficial beta beta Windows 7 was on the Internet in the second part of 2008, while Microsoft released the official beta version in January 2009.
Beta reviews of Windows 7 were relatively uniform in the evaluation. In short, Windows 7 is an allegedly faster version of Vista. In several cases, Benchmarks defeated the operating system Vista and XP® and scored higher in areas, such as faster starting and shutdown times and faster access to files and documents. In other key areas, including general office activities and video editing, XP remains faster.
The Vista operating system has received a wide criticism for being a slow WHILE operating systemQuality of system resources with higher minimum hardware requirements than previous Windows systems. In one word, the critics claimed that Vista was ineffective. While Windows 7 has the same minimum requirements as Vista, they seem to use them better.
Because Windows 7 is an additional upgrade from Vista, drivers and Vista programs are fully compatible with Windows 7. This should make it easier to switch from Vista to Windows 7, for those who married Vista. Programs that have been designed to run on Vista will be launched on Windows 7, so the Windows 7 upgrading should be a painless process, preserving programs and preferences.
While Windows 7 persists, several changes have been made as expected. The shutdown button is more of a handy, uncomplicated text button than iconas that appeared in Vista and SecuriThese centers are called an action center in Windows 7. The new action center combines security and maintenance functions for easier access to features such as system recovery and backup management. Windows 7 also adds home groups, a feature that makes it easier to set up a secure home network to share files and resources without exposing your computer from external interloders.
Several programs are no longer associated with Windows 7, but can be downloaded on the Microsoft website. These include Microsoft Movie Maker, Photo Gallery, Windows Calendar and Windows Mail. The Gadget for the Windows side panel is also gone from Windows 7, replaced by board gadgets.
Anyone who is familiar with Vista will probably find a change in Windows 7, which is easy to adapt to and improved performance and plus. However, if Vista cannot run a device or program necessary for your computer environment, Windows 7 is unlikely to provide salvation.
