What Are Diamond Files?
Carbide files are generally suitable for products that require high precision and durability, such as mold repair and workpiece grinding. It belongs to abrasive tools together with sander, roller cutter, alloy grinding wheel, diamond polishing tool, wool polishing wheel and so on. Its main role is to repair the burr of mold parts, make the parts smooth, and greatly reduce the surface roughness.

1. Can process cast iron, cast steel, carbon steel, alloy steel, stainless steel, copper, aluminum and other metals, and marble, jade, bone and other non-metals;
2. Basically replace small with handle
1. Section shape: The section shape of the file should be selected according to the shape of the filed part, so that the shapes of the two can be adapted. When filing the inner arc surface, choose a semi-circular file or a round file (small diameter workpiece); when filing the inner corner surface, choose a triangular file; when filing the inner right-angle surface, you can choose a flat file or a square file. When using a flat file to file an inner right-angled surface, care should be taken so that the narrow surface (blank edge) of the file without teeth is close to one of the inner right-angled surfaces to avoid damaging the right-angled surface.
2. Thickness of cutter teeth: The thickness of the cutter teeth should be selected according to the size of the workpiece, machining accuracy, and material properties. Coarse tooth files are suitable for machining large allowances, low dimensional accuracy, large form and position tolerances, large surface roughness values, and soft materials; otherwise, fine tooth files should be selected.
3. Size specifications: The file size specifications should be selected according to the size and machining allowance of the workpiece being processed. When the processing size is large and the margin is large, a file with a large size should be selected, and a file with a small size should be used instead.
4. Knife tooth pattern: The file tooth pattern should be selected according to the nature of the material of the file being filed. When filing soft material workpieces such as aluminum, copper, and soft steel, it is best to use single toothed (milled) files. The single tooth pattern file has a large rake angle, a small wedge angle, a large chip flute, chips are not easy to block, and the cutting edge is sharp. [1]
