What Are the Different Types of Sandblasting Machinery?
Sand blasting machine is the category of air conveying machinery.
- The sand particles are pushed forward by the compressed air in the pipeline, showing two states: suspended and pulsating.
- The ideal working condition requires that the sand particles show a uniform suspended flow in the pipeline. The appropriate amount of sand and the appropriate air volume and pressure are the most critical factors that determine the effect of sand particles. The amount of air volume should make the air flow in the pipeline. At least it must be faster than the maximum sedimentation speed of the sand, and the wind pressure is sufficient to overcome the frictional loss and resistance of the air in the pipeline to promote the flow of sand, so as to ensure the smooth flow of sand in the pipeline.
- However, with the growth of the pipeline, the wind pressure gradually decreases and the air velocity decreases, and the suspended particles first appear non-uniform suspended flow, and then appear in a dense and uneven flow state. When the air velocity is less than a certain value, a pulsating flow state occurs. As the air velocity decreases further, part of the material particles will stagnate at the bottom of the pipeline, and the other part will slide forward, which will cause the stagnant material layer to move steadily, and eventually form a blockage, causing work failure. Sand blasting machine does not produce air
- (1) Check the pressure of the pressure gauge;
- (2) Check whether the remote control tube is connected incorrectly;
- (3) Check whether the small rubber lining is bad.
- Approach:
- (1) Increase the pressure of the air compressor;
- (2) Change the two-color remote control pipe joint;
- (3) Replace the small rubber pad.
Sand blasting machine does not produce sand
- (1) Check the pressure of the pressure gauge;
- (2) Check whether the connecting air bag is loose or blocked;
- (3) Check whether the adjusting screw is adjusted correctly;
- (4) Check whether the large rubber or copper sleeve and the top core are damaged.
- Approach:
- (1) Increase the pressure of the air compressor;
- (2) Tighten the screw joints; clear the clogged debris;
- (3) Adjust the sand adjustment handwheel to the true direction;
- (4) Replace the large rubber paraffin or copper sleeve and the top core.
Sand blasting machine
- (1) Check and adjust the rubber core screws;
- (2) Check whether the sand rubber core is damaged;
- (3) Check whether the small rubber pads of the cut-off valve are intact, and whether the copper cake nut or rubber pad and rubber ring are worn or burst;
- (4) Check the control switch for air leakage.
- Approach:
- (1) Tighten the rubber core screws properly;
- (2) Replace the rubber core;
- (3) Replace the small rubber lining, copper cake nut or rubber pad and rubber ring.
