What is a compressor valve?

The compressor is a device that moves through air, gas or liquid through the machine components. Compressors usually have a cylindrical chamber with a piston that moves up and down when the crankshaft turns. The piston movement changes the pressure in the cylinder so that the compressor valves open and close, move through the air or other substance through the cylinder and into the other parts of the machine. Compressor valves are what controls the air flow through the machine.

Compressors have two different types of valves, each of which allows the flow of substances only in one direction. The suction valves control the flow of the substance into the piston chamber or cylinder. The drain valve controls the flow of fabric from the piston chamber. Each type of compressor valve allows air flow in only one direction and at once only one of the valves will be opened.

Two types of compressor valves cooperate in one full rotation of the crankshaft or a single -line and fall the piston inside the cylinder. When the piston moves down, it creates more space in the chamber above the piston. ChangeThe pressure opens the suction valve and a fabric such as air or cooling liquid is sucked into the cylindrical chamber. The suction valve remains open until the piston reaches the lowest point in its cycle.

When the piston moves up, the fabric begins to squeeze. The pressure in the substance opens the drain valve and the fabric flows from the cylinder. The piston continues to rise and push the cloth from the cylinder through the drain valve. The drain valve remains open until the piston reaches its highest position in the chamber.

There are different ways in which compressor valves are designed. In some cases, the valves are loaded on the spring. When the pressure above the valve plus the spring smaller than the pressure under the valve, the valve opens and the compressed fabric is forced inwards. Other types of compressor valves include finger and plate valves. No matter what kind of compressor valve is used, the pressure ratios are important in determining, when the valves open and close.

The compressor valve is necessary for the correct operation of the compressor. Design of the compressor and the selection of the right compressor valve requires understanding of pressure and strength in a closed system. The valves must be selected to withstand repeated exposure to high pressure in the system and must be effectively designed to control the flow of substances with high accuracy.
