What Is a Core Drill?

Core drilling rig is a kind of core drilling equipment, which is mainly used for the general survey and exploration of metal and non-metal solid minerals. In addition, it can also be used for engineering geological survey, hydrogeological survey, oil and gas field survey and exploration, and water well drilling. The core drilling rigs are all rotary drilling rigs because they require the removal of more complete, non-mixed and non-fluffing stratum rock samples. According to the structure of the rig gyrator, the core rig can be divided into three types: vertical shaft type, turntable type and mobile gyrator type.
