What is the whistle?

Porter-Cable Sander is one of a number of different grinding machines, some hand and some stationary, produced by Porter-Cable. Every sander that is used primarily for wood and carpentry processing is designed to suit a specific need. Specifically, Porter-Cable produces sand, stationary bands for belts, grinders, hand grinders, random orbits and finishing grinders.

It was founded in 1906, Porter-Cable began to produce tools for wood processing in 1914. This porter, which consists of a fabric belt with an abrasive surface stretched through and between two rotating rollers, revolutionized the industry industry.
